MCB Bank Limited is a Pakistani multinational commercial bank which is based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The majority of shares are owned by Pakistani conglomerate Nishat Group and Malaysian bank, Maybank. It was incorporated by the Adamjee Group on July 9, 1947. MCB Bank commenced operations in Sri Lanka in 1994, bringing international, as well as regional experience and expertise to the island.

Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC is a Sri Lankan holding company engaged in retailing and wholesale marketing home appliances and furniture. The company is also taking part in financial services and manufacturing businesses. The Singer Corporation entered the Sri Lankan market in 1877 and was incorporated as a limited liability company in 1974. It became a quoted company in the Colombo Stock Exchange in 1981. In 2017, Hayleys PLC acquired a controlling stake of the company and thus became the parent company of Singer (Sri Lanka).
